This past weekend David and I traveled to Oneonta, NY. Why Oneonta you say? Good question! It is the home of the National Soccer Hall of Fame!
My dad and former baller Hugo Perez were inducted into the 2008 class of the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Yay pappy! We are so proud of all that you have done for women's soccer and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill!
In additional to touring the Soccer Hall of Fame, we also got to visit Cooperstown, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Why these National Hall of Fames are located in the middle of nowhere is beyond me. But we had fun and also got to visit the Fenimore Art Museum.
Oneonta and Cooperstown are beautiful places to visit. The landscape is hilly and covered with lush vegetation. If it wasn't in the middle of nowhere I would consider living there! We had a great time and were so tickled that my dad received such a great honor. We love you paps! Keep up the good work!
