This past week David's sister and niece came to visit us! We were so excited to have them in town and to play with little Gabi.
David could always put a smile on Gabi's face!

Gabi was also fascinated by the coffee table that David made.
Gabi loves playing with her Grammie! She is saying see, I can do this all by myself.
On Saturday we all took a trip to the zoo. We had such a great time and the weather was wonderful. Gabi enjoyed looking at all the animals, as long as it was from a safe distance.
Here is Tami trying to keep Gabi from jumping in the elephant exhibit.
Gabi showed us what noise each animal makes. And what noise does a turtle make you ask? Well, Gabi tilts her head from side to side and says "dump da dump da dump". Too cute!
The chimps were one of the first exhibits we saw in the morning and they were definitely showing off. Here is one playing with a towel over his head. As he ran around the exhibit if the towel fell off, he would quickly run back to retrieve it and put it back on his head. I think he was just getting ready for Halloween.
There was even this cool helicopter at the zoo that Gabi got to sit in. It would make her daddy very proud!
David really enjoyed showing Gabi all the neat animals at the zoo, especially his favorite animal, the meerkat.
We had such a fun week with Gabi and Tami. We can't wait to see them again at Christmas. Maybe by then, Gabi will be able to say my name!
