Showers & Sprinkles

So, I hate to brag, but I have some of the best friends in the world! Last month we headed to Chapel Hill so my mom's church and ballet school friends could throw me a baby shower and attend another shower hosted by my high school friends. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures at the church/ballet school shower . . . but I did remember to take photos with my HS friends!

Chapel Hill Sprinkle:

Hadley and Rizzo both flew in for the weekend from across the country just to help throw me a shower! Aren't they awesome? It was so nice to have everyone together again and catch up!

And of course fellow twin mama, Sarah, who lives in Chapel Hill was also there to offer all kinds of advice and love on my belly!

Seriously, she was all over me all weekend. I joked that it seemed like we were having babies together from all the pictures of her loving on me! Lol.

My girlfriend shower was at Rizzo's house. They decorated with an adorable clouds and sunshine theme. It was super cute!

And the food was amazing! I'm still craving the spinach dip and orange brownies! This shower included my good high school friends and their mamas.

Diane and Rizzo (ok her real name is Laura)

And Sarah and Penny

Finley really wanted to come to some of the baby showers so he and David also attended this one.

It was really so great to see everyone and catch up! I hate that so many of my good friends live so far away!

We were definitely spoiled at the shower!

And Finley loved being a big helper!

Tennis baby shower:

Is that not the cutest cake you have ever seen? The design is based off of an invitation that my good friend Marie made for a shower with all my tennis clinic and tennis team friends.

It was hosted at Amy's brand new house out in the country. Again we had amazing food and a great time visiting!

It was a smaller crowd as a lot of friends were out of town and several of the Swedes moved back to Sweden over the summer, but it was so much fun and we were blessed with a lot of wonderful gifts for the twins!

Greensboro Church Shower:

The last shower was hosted by my good friends Bridget and Andrea. It was a storybook themed shower and the decorations were adorable!

Kelly, who made a special trip in from out of town, made these really cool decorations out of pages of a book and now they are up in the twins nursery!

All the food matched book themes too! Pop to drink from the book Hop on Pop, cheese and crackers represented the book The Stinky Cheese Man, meatballs for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, veggies and fruit for The Very Hungry Caterpillar, red velvet cupcakes for The Velveteen Rabbit, and cookies for If you Give a Mouse a Cookie. So fun and clever!

We had a great turnout of my church friends!

Even friends who have moved onto other church wards were there!

And isn't this the cutest take away? Fun little bags of gummy worms for all the bookworms!

I really didn't expect to have any baby showers since these are our 2nd and 3rd babies, but it was really fun and special to celebrate the twins! We can't thank everyone enough for all the showers, gifts, and supplies to help us prepare for the twins arrival! We are truly blessed to have so much love and support as we prepare to welcome these babies in the world!
