Hunter & Jackson at 3

I can't believe these boys are 3!
On the one hand time has flown by and on the other hand it seems like these boys have been a part of our family forever!

Jackson at 3.

Jackson is my little chatter box. He is friendly with anyone he meets and does not like conversations going on that he is not a part of.

He always by my side helping me with chores and errands frequently saying "I'm a good helper!" Jackson is a good sleeper, loves to read books, enjoys dancing and music, and has lots of stuffed animals that he can't be without! He is a good eater and not very picky.

He repeats anything he hears and is cracking us up on a regular basis.

He loves dogs, super heroes, pirates, Mickey Mouse, and Jake and the Neverland pirates.

He dislikes veggies and getting in trouble. He will often run and hide when he is in trouble or cover his ears so he can't hear you scold him.

He is very strong and physically active.

He loves playing tennis, basketball, swinging, and playing ghostie.

He is such a sweet boy and only occasionally gets into trouble.

We love you Jackson!

Hunter at 3.

Hunter is much more reserved and shy than Jackson. It often takes him a while to warm up to people.

He's not a great sleeper and often in my bed in the middle of the night. He is also a picky eater and eats like a bird at most meals.

He loves books, music, dancing, cars, super heroes, building things, marbles, and bubbles.

His favorite stuffed animals are Mickey Mouse and snakey.

He doesn't like wearing clothes or pajamas but then is often complaining about being cold. He is very clingy with me and tends to throw lots of tantrums when he doesn't get his way.

Hunter loves sweets and lemonade and is rewarded with such when he does a good job wearing his eye patch. He does not like the dark and often needs a light left on for him. He has a devilish streak in him and is frequently in time out for not listening or for throwing tantrums.

The boys are starting to play together more and more. They still fight over toys and aren't great at taking turns or sharing, but overall they are trying to hurt each other less!

They both love going to preschool and I often get reports of how well they listen, behave, and what sweet boys they are!

They are still unbelievably exhausting, but we are starting to have more and more fun with them. We also are always proud to see how much they are learning and growing.
We love you Hunter and Jackson!

Toy Story Party

The weekend before the boys birthday we threw them a Toy Story themed party!

David thought I was crazy for making three different types of cupcakes (Alien, Buzz, and Woody), but I think they turned out pretty well and I enjoyed decorating them!

In addition to cupcakes we had Alien Jello cups.

Buzz fruit rockets. Snake in my boot gummies.

Mr. Potato Chips and Slinky's pasta salad. We also had "Pizza planet" pizza that we ordered in.

Donovan and KellyAnn came dressed in their Halloween costumes. Can you figure out what they are?
Taco....Belle! LOL

Our first activity/craft was making little Forkies.

Next we used Nerf guns to shoot Aliens just like Buzz Lightyear would.

The boys really got into this, but needed help with the guns.

And then we played pin the tail on Woody's horse Bullseye.

Finley was a good sport and participated as well!

Hunter kept asking during the party "Is it time for my birthday party yet?" We finally figured out that he was asking for his cake!

At last they got their birthday song and cupcakes!

The boys were also spoiled with tons of presents!

The big hits included Buzz and Woody toys, marble runs, and magna tiles!

We had a great time celebrating with friends and family!

On the boys actual birthday we took them over to Safari Nation.

Mimi came over for the day and enjoyed playing on their obstacle courses.

These boys sure are little monkeys!

They loved pretending to play arcade games too.

The boys had a fabulous 3rd birthday! It was so much fun to celebrate with them now that they are more aware! Ever since then the boys have been saying "I am three now!"
Happy Birthday Hunter and Jackson!
We love you so much!
