Last summer David and I decided we needed to remodel our bathroom before we had a baby. What we thought would be a simple month or so long project took way longer than we anticipated, but in the end we are happy with our results.
Our remodeling project involved taking down wallpaper, painting, taking up the old linoleum, and tiling our floor. We also want to repaint our cabinets, but we have postponed that because I fear if we don't wrap this project up and get started on the baby's room it won't be ready in time.
Here are some pictures documenting our adventure:
I am very happy with the results and just hope it all holds up over time. I can't say that I would ever want to tile again though. It took us so long and caused a lot of stress. Trying to lay out tiles up against crooked walls and lots of doorways isn't easy. Plus David had to do so much of it himself because I am afraid to use machinery and I would also get sore and tired hunching on the floor so much. If we ever do our kitchen I will gladly hire someone so it will get down quicker. But I sure am proud of David and what he did looks great! You are the best baby!
