Natty Champs

I just wanted to give a big shout out to my paps! 

2012 NCAA National Champions! 

That makes 21 NCAA titles and 22 national championships! 

I know what you are thinking. It must get old right? 

Let me tell you, it never gets old. It just keeps getting sweeter. Every year it gets harder and harder to win this thing. And that just makes it that much better when we do. 

This championship in particular meant a lot to my family. 

After all that my mom has been through this year and especially the last two weeks we needed this.

My mom wasn't able to be there for this one. She was so sad to miss her first College Cup final four. 

As a special tribute to my mom the girls on the team wore red wrist bands during the games, her favorite color. 

And after the final match was won they held up a sign that said "This one is for M'Liss". 

It brought us all to tears. It was so sweet and thoughtful. And it means so much to us to have everyone's support through all this craziness. No it never gets old. 

At the beginning of the season my dad said that we may have the worst record in the history of the program and still win the NCAA title. Well, he was dead on. And you know what? 

We couldn't be happier.

"I'm not telling you it's going to be easy. I'm telling you it's going to be worth it."
