T-Ball

Finley man completed his first season of T-ball the other week. 

This was our first time playing T-ball and Finley had such a great time. In t-ball we learned that there are no outs and everyone bats every inning...so they usually only get through two innings a game! But it teaches them the basics of the game and where to run and what to do. 

It's a bit of a slow game to watch, but Finley didn't seem to mind. He had a couple of friends from his preschool on his team so they enjoyed hanging out on the bench and in the outfield together. 

At the end of each inning the last batter hits and the rest of the players get to keep running all the bases till everyone makes it home. One inning, Finley was last up to bat so he got to hit a 'home run'. He kept telling everyone he saw that week that he hit a home run. He was so proud.

Finley was such a little guy compared to most of the other players out there.

By the end of the season Finley could usually hit off of the pitch and didn't need the tee. 

He had a great time and learned a lot about baseball. 

We were very lucky to have such great coaches and a fun team! Go Giants!
