Ever since UNC won the NCAA Championship last year Finley has been dying to play basketball! He finally got his chance to play this past winter at our local YMCA.
David and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit back and watch practises and games while Coach Henry was in charge. We are so used to being the coaches of Finley's soccer team that it was a welcome break!
To play like a baller, you have to look like a baller! Hence the tights/leggings!
Finley's team named themselves the Ghost Ballers. Our cheer was of course, "Who you gonna call? Ghost Ballers!" LOL! Finley was always in charge of in bounding the ball when he was in the game.
Even though this was Finley's first time playing basketball he did great and even scored several baskets throughout the season.
Even though we finished 3rd in our league out of 4th, our team did beat the number one team! We kind of struggled having all of our players at each game throughout the season.
Finley had a lot of fun and hopes to one day play basketball at UNC. :)
