Finley recently finished out his 2019/2020 winter basketball season!
This season was a little rough as his team was full of a bunch of beginners. Luckily for Finley that meant he was the starting point guard for the majority of the season and got to play a lot!
The unlucky part was that his team only won 2 games all season. I was really ready to have Finley step away from basketball after this season, but he played so well and really stepped up his game!
Mimi and Pop Pop were on hand to see one of his best games where he score a career high of 7 pts!
He has grown more confident dribbling and handling the ball.
He has also figured out how to get open to take more shots.
Even though his team lost a lot of games, Finley had a great attitude and still enjoyed himself!
Maybe we aren't quite done with basketball yet...

Cool pics from above the rim! And it's hilarious that he made his free throws from two feet behind the line. Way to go, Finley!
