it looks like you have a rat tail coming out of the back of your head.
Or when you can turn said rat tail into an Alfalfa hair do.
For some reason I felt compelled to cut Finley's hair myself.
I felt like I should know how to do this since I am a stay at home mom. Or maybe my previous experience cutting David's hair gave me confidence to tackle Finley's head.
So we turned on Elmo, slicked his hair, and went to town.

I expected lots of resistance, but that kid was glued to the TV.
Which made my job easier...right?
Finley's bangs were starting to hang down into his eyes so they needed a bit of a trim.
Yeah. No way to fix that!
The ears always give me problems.
The first one looked fine, but trimming around the second ear turned into a disaster.
I cut out too far from his ear and here is the result below.

Cutting this off made me realize just how much hair was back there!
No wonder people kept asking me how old SHE was.

I can't believe you did it! I was shocked with I say the post title, before I even started reading. Ü
I think you did a good job! And, that ear hair will grow back fast enough. Ü
Wow, still can't believe Finley got a hair cut. Ü
Awesome job on the hair! (I think it must be much harder to cut a boy's hair.) I felt the same way and cut Claire's hair up until recently when finally I caved and took her to a professional. It's really sweet to give it a try, and you can always "clean up" in between visits to the pros. Loved your pics and stories!
i miss the mullet...
I love it! I think you did a good job for your first time. Don't take him to a "professional"--practice makes perfect, and he has the perfect head to practice on, since his face is cute--it will make up for any hair problems. :)
You did great! If you already cut David's hair, how much different can it be? :)
It looks awesome... I am impressed!
Very impressed...Good job!
