Finley participated in the Orange Level 1 ladder this past spring. There were about 12 kids total in his age group/level.
I love the ladder because it gives Finley lots of opportunities to get match play experience and against a bunch of different players. We have also made friends with several players and parents who participate each season.
Finley finished number 1 in the ladder several weeks in a row and even ended the season at number 1. He made it to the finals of the end of season tournament, but lost in a tie breaker to another great competitor Addison. He was still all smiles after the match and I am so glad he is learning good sportsmanship through this opportunity. For the summer ladder Finley will be moving up to green dot balls! It's only gonna get tougher!
