Topsail Island 2022

Finally, our favorite week of the year arrived! Beach week at Topsail Island!

We were so excited to spend a much need week away from the chaos of work and the world with the people we love best! We had fantastic weather and great company!

In no particular order here are some of the fun things we did during our week.

Finley was allowed to invite a friend to the beach for half of the week. Well, when your besties are twins, that means two friends; Cade and Finn.

The beach can be exhausting!

One night the boys ventured over to the sound side to do some "crabbing".

 

They really wanted to cook and eat the crabs, but they weren't exactly big enough for that!

We played lots of pickle ball and tennis!

Had fun burying our children in the sand!

Who oddly enough also enjoy it.

Stayed up late playing card games!

The hot tub was broken and leaking...but the boys enjoyed it for a few days.

Finley and his friends enjoyed boogie boarding.

But a few rough waves on some shelly sand left some bad wounds!

We always do at least one puzzle at the beach! This was a fun one that even the littles helped with.

The theater room was definitely put to good use!

One afternoon we explored the pier near our house.

We forgot to take a huge picture with all the family! Everyone was also coming and going at different points in the week. We are so glad that everyone was able to come. We could not have asked for better weather! And everyone was able to do all of their favorite things. 

I'm always so sad and depressed when this week is over. It's a lot of work but so worth it! Until next year!
