It's hard to believe that 4 years have gone by!
Hunter and Jackson turned 4 and we decided to celebrate with their first "friends" party at the house.
I rented an inflatable bouncy house for the entertainment! It worked out really well because they dropped it off a few days early and picked it up a few days after the party, so we got to use it for 4 days in a row! And the weather was amazing! Even hot for November!
Yo, ho, ho, the party's theme was pirates! We ran the Jolly Roger up yonder pole and encouraged the guests to dress in their best pirate gear!
We made pirate hats!
Bounced to our heart's content!
And then had a scavenger hunt for treasure and pirate supplies!
The kids had a great time following clues and finding their loot!
Afterwards we celebrated with pirate friendly snacks and cupcakes.
Hunter at 4.
Hunter is shy, reserved, silly, fast, mischievous, scrappy, strong willed, sneaky, musical, and grumpy.
Jackson at 4.
Jackson is charming, energetic, stubborn, athletic, loving, inquisitive, aggressive, talkative, and outgoing.
The boys loved being the center of attention and celebrating with their school and church friends. PS - Mimi won the unofficial costume contest. Check out her amazing garb in the background! I wish I had a better pic!
And of course, their favorite babysitters were on hand to help us celebrate! Miss Annie!
And Ms. Karen and Cora!
After the party guests left, they opened up all their gifts!
These boys are so loved and spoiled!
It was a swashbuckling good time and luckily no one had to walk the plank!
