We went back and forth about when would be the "right" time to take the twins to Disney. We were definitely nervous taking them at such a young age, but they did really well!
We drove a little more than halfway and stayed the night in a hotel with Grammie & Abuelo.
The boys were so excited for Disney and to stay in a hotel lol.
The next day we made the rest of the drive and got to the resort midafternoon.
Our first day there we made the most of the nice weather and enjoyed the resort pool!
They had life jackets for the littles,
and an awesome water slide! The boys rode it again and again!
Well, we all had a good time on it!
This was only our second trip to Disney as a family (first with the twins) and we always love staying on site. This time we took advantage of all the things our resort offered.
The Port Orleans resort had a boat shuttle to Disney Springs.
We had never been so decided to venture over to walk around and have dinner.
The boys enjoyed checking out some of the stores too.
Of course, they don't understand why we can't just buy everything in sight!
We ate at a really good taco food truck but enjoyed the sights and sounds of the surrounding area and especially the volcano explosion from the Rainforest Cafe. Next time we might have to eat there! The boys were exhausted by the end of dinner so it was time to rest up for our first full day in the park!

Looks like a super fun way to start off your vacation! I love walking around Disney springs. But I don't miss the days of having to teach my kids that we don't buy everything. Ha!
That's so much fun! Disney is such an adventure!
