The start of Finley's spring break we headed down to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend and to celebrate Easter with Grammie & Abuelo.
We arrived late on Thursday night, so didn't venture out until Friday. We kicked things off with a trip to the beach and a treasure hunt!
Finley helped Grammie & Abuelo bury some treasure on the beach!
The boys then received a treasure map and Finley helped 'interpret' the map and lead them to the treasure.
X marks the spot!
Time to dig!
They found it!
They were so excited!
Check out all that booty!
Even though it was sunny, it was super windy and a little cold! And I forgot how easy it is to get all wet when you are a little toddler...so we stripped down when our clothes got wet!
Our treasure hunting crew!
Grammie had all kinds of fun Easter things planned for us including lots of sweets and treats.
Finley was most excited about being able to drive the golf cart around their neighborhood.
And Hunter and Jackson enjoyed pretending and going along for a ride.
Grammie & Abuelo live on a golf course so occasionally there are gators around!
We found this one but were sure not to get too close!
On Saturday we spent the day celebrating Finley's 13th birthday a little early.
We went to a restaurant of his choosing.
And played mini golf.
Finley even tied for first place!
And amazingly the twins both putted a hole in one on the same hole! If only we had caught it on camera.
Our putting crew!
Easter morning the boys woke up to some fun surprises!
Our little bunnies!
On to the egg hunt!
The boys had so much fun looking for eggs!
We found all but one!
After going through our spoils we headed over to an amazing playground.
There was an ice cream truck and the boys all got snow cones.
Later that night we had an fabulous Easter dinner with Grammie and Abuelo's neighbors.
We also sang happy birthday to Finley and let him choose his pie!
We had such a great time visiting Grammie and Abuelo!
This was our first big road trip since the twins had been potty trained. The car rides were long each way, and sometimes we had to make a pit stop on the side of the road. LOL! But we would do it all again! Happy Easter!
